well i've finally gotten around to posting some photos from my trip to new orleans...
this was on the way, in slidell, la...
then, after some technical difficulties, we finally arrived at the hostel where we were staying at 4am.
it was across the street from a really pretty church.
it had a beautiful pond, with sunbathers.
then we went down to the french quarter.
it started raining.
brian got rained on.
then i got rained on.
new orleans has streetcars.
it also has really cool cemeteries.
and underpasses.
also we went to the aquarium, where i took way way too many photos. here are two of them.
some other stuff happened too but i didn't really photograph it.
on the way home, we stopped off at "irish bayou", which was really cool. it had luxury homes:
and high-class residents:
all in all, it was a good time.
advice for those of you planning to travel to new orleans: beware of hurricanes (the alcoholic beverage, not the weather phenomenon). peace out.
here are some fourth of july photos. our internet has not been working but now it does, so now i can put stuffs on the intermanet. lalala.
here are some sparkler photos of my siblings.
and my personal favorite:
here are some weird photos of me.

liz cleaned out the fridge. see the rotten cream cheese tower? nice, huh? *note: i do not like cream cheese, so this cannot possibly belong to me. thank you.*
this is a billboard on the expressway in chicago with a photo of kurt cobain. mike and i have been trying to capture this for quite some time. i finally got it...
here are some photos of the library at the university of chicago.
people having lunch.
there was a party going on at the u of c. but no one invited me. even as i was walking by. i'm gonna fit in great there! :)
okay here is a photo of brent and ronnie at night. this is just to prove i have at least two friends:
here are my brothers, each being weird in his own special way:
now, a story about a ladybug.
once there was a lady bug in the grass.
then the ladybug crawled on to someone's face.
then the ladybug was tragically squished.
No, no ladybugs were really harmed in the making of this photoblog. please don't send me angry letters.
that's all i have for now...more to come. the internet is going really slowly here these days, if it works at all. it's a real pain.
so, i just remembered...
a) i still have a photoblog.
b) members of my photoblog-viewing public want to see photos. on the blog. now.
several things have barred me from posting recently, as you may (or may not) have noticed. these are work- and move-related issues. please don't take it personally. i'm still photographing anything and everything. okay i'm going to post now...just a sec.
